Tribeca Film Festival goes virtual
I’m just back from the Tribeca Film Festival’s Tribeca Talk Industry – Checking up on Docs: A conversation with Sheila Nevins, a.k.a “Dominatrix of Docs” and president of HBO Documentary and Family. Of course, Sheila is just as interesting and engaging as the collection of documentaries she produces and assembles. I also discovered that I actually didn’t have to leave the confines of my cozy home on this particularly wet Sunday to partake in the event. Her talk, along with several other screenings, films and shorts is being offered virtually. Whether you’re a film buff or not, it’s truly worth checking out (from where ever you’re sitting).
